Westcountry Rachel de Thame Lupine This perennial is a Proven Winner’s Plant
Westcountry Rachel de Thame Lupine is a bi-color lupine bearing spikes of pea-shaped, pink and white flowers in late spring to early summer. Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to the lupine flower and deer dislike it. The bright green leaves that resemble palm fronds form a nice dense mound. Westcountry Rachel de Thame Lupine will grow from 18" to 24" tall and just as wide.
Westcountry Rachel de Thame Lupine prefers cooler conditions, so plant in a cooler area of your planting bed. Rachel de Thame Lupine prefers loamy rich, well-drained soil. Plant in a border, or a mass planting in a perennial bed. It is great for a cut flower. This plant is toxic if ingested so don't plant if you have small children that may get to them.
