Baby Cakes Blackberry

Baby Cakes Blackberry is a new variety of blackberry that is dwarf and will grow in Zone 4. This variety is also thornless. It will grow from 3' to 4' tall and just as wide making it a compact Blackberry. Because of its dwarf habit, you can grow this one in a container. It is self-pollinating and in spring it will be flush with white flowers that will ripen into juicy blackberries in midsummer.

Baby Cakes Blackberry will attract birds and wildlife so if you are growing these for eating fresh or making jam and pies, you will need to protect them with bird netting.

You can use Baby Cakes Blackberry as a low hedge or mass planting.
