Red Midget Mexican Hat is a cool looking flower that is so named due to the flower shape that looks like a Mexican sombrero hat. It has an airy, open growth habit with light green foliage. It will grow from 12" to 15" tall and 15" to 18" wide. The flowers will appear in early summer and will continue to bloom through late summer.
Plant Red Midget Mexican Hat in a naturalized setting or massed in a perennial bed. It will attract butterflies and makes a great cut flower. Red Midget Mexican Hat will become drought tolerant once it is established making this a great plant for a Rock Garden or for xeriscaping.
