Cherry Pops Bee Balm
Cherry Pops Bee Balm is a fast growing, newer, and smaller variety of the traditional favorite for the perennial garden. It has fragrant green foliage that smells like mint when you crush the leaves. Cherry Pops Bee Balm produces a beautiful display of red flowers from mid to late summer. It makes an excellent cut flower. It will grow to a height of 20" to 24" and 18" to 20" wide. Water regularly during the summer to prevent powdery mildew. Deadhead to increase blooming time. Cherry Pops Bee Balm likes to be planted in full sun to part shade.
Use this plant in a perennial border, cottage garden, or as a grouping in a landscape bed. Cherry Pops Bee Balm attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. You can even eat the flowers. Bee Balm will spread quickly, so reduce the clump size in early spring if needed. Try planting this beauty in a container for some color during the summer on your deck or patio. Cherry Pops Bee Balm is deer resistant and drought tolerant once it is established. It is a Firewise plant and will tolerate wet soil making it a good choice for next to streams, ponds, or wet areas. #1 $15.99 |
