Spicy Orange Thyme
Spicy Orange Thyme is a spreading ground cover that has needle shaped green leaves. The leaves have strong spicy-orange fragrance. It is full of lavender pink flowers blooming from early summer to midsummer. It will tolerate moderate foot traffic. It will grow 2" to 3" tall and will spread 10" to 12" wide. Spicy Orange Thyme is easily divided in spring or early fall, and even small pieces will take root and grow.
Plant Spicy Orange Thyme as a groundcover or between flagstone. Spicy Orange Thyme will attract butterflies and is resistant to deer. It will become drought tolerant once it is established.
