Moonbeam Coreopsis
Moonbeam Coreopsis is a very dainty perennial which has a mounding habit. It has creamy pale-yellow flowers which rise above the green, delicate, thread-leaf foliage. It blends well with other colors. It will bloom from early summer through late summer and will re-bloom in early fall. A shearing in August will cause a heavier re-blooming of the flowers in early fall. It will grow to a height of 18" to 24" and just as wide. Moonbeam Coreopsis likes to be planted in full sun.
Use this perennial in the front of a border, rock garden, cottage garden, moon garden, or mass plantings in a perennial bed or landscape bed, or in front of boulders where the yellow flowers really show. Moonbeam Coreopsis attracts butterflies and makes a great cut flower. It is drought tolerant once it is established and it is deer resistant. It is also a Firewise plant.
