May Night Salvia

May Night Salvia has purple stems loaded with violet-purple flowers that bloom from early summer to midsummer. The gray-green aromatic foliage makes an attractive accent all summer long. It will grow to a height of 18” to 24" and just as wide. Plant May Night Salvia in full sun in well drained soil.
May Night Salvia was selected Perennial Plant of the year in 1997. It is a magnet for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds and is deer-resistant. It is hardy for container gardening and provides excellent cut flowers. Use May Night Salvia in a mixed perennial border or massed in a perennial bed. Planting next to yellow bloomers such as Coronation Gold Yarrow really brings out the purple color contrast.
