Berry Chiffon Coreopsis
Berry Chiffon Coreopsis is a mounding perennial with a long bloom period. It has medium green foliage with blooms that rise above the foliage. It will grow to a height of 12" to 18" and up to 2' wide. The blooms are a burgundy red with white fringes on the petals and will bloom from early summer to early fall. A shearing in August will cause a heavier re-blooming of the flowers in early fall. Berry Chiffon Coreopsis likes to be planted in full sun.
Use this plant as a border, cottage garden, or mass plantings in a perennial or landscape bed, container, to naturalize an area, or a rock garden. Berry Chiffon Coreopsis attracts butterflies, and makes a great cut flower. It is drought tolerant once it is established and it is deer resistant. It is also a Firewise plant. #1 $15.99 |
