True Blue Gentain can be a difficult plant to grow, but this variety is so hardy that any gardener will succeed with this plant. It will grow from15" to 20" tall and 12" to 18" wide. It forms a low clump of large dark green leaves which bears arching stems bearing small bright, deep blue flowers from summer to early fall. True Blue Gentain likes to be planted in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil.
