Topiary and Bonsai is an art form of shaping and maneuvering plants to interesting shapes. Topiary consists of wires and frames made into shapes where smaller plants are planted to fill the frames in. Or topiary is the process of pruning and trimming certain shrubs into shapes such as Pom Poms or Spirals.
Bonsai is an ancient Japanese art of pruning and shaping miniature shrubs and trees into actual live trees that are miniature forms of larger trees. These are planted in special Bonsai pots and may take years to develop into their true finished form.
