Always Afternoon Daylily
Always Afternoon Daylily has beautiful flowers that are a light purple with a dark burgundy inner circle and a yellow throat. Always Afternoon Daylily have long slender green leaves that usually turn yellow in the fall. This daylily will grow to a height of 20" to 22" and 18" to 24" wide. Always Afternoon Daylily likes to be planted in full sun to partial sun.
Use Always Afternoon Daylily as stand alone plants, edging, borders, containers, groundcover, cottage garden, or massed in a perennial or landscape bed. Daylilies are very hardy plants and will withstand dry soil to wet soil, poor soil, and slopes. Always Afternoon Daylily attracts butterflies and makes an excellent cut flower. It is deer resistant and drought tolerant once it is established. It is also a Firewise plant. Water deeply during dry spells to maintain good looking foliage.
Always Afternoon Daylily should be divided to maintain vigor when the clumps become overcrowded. Deadhead flowers to keep plant looking nice.
