Vancouver Jade Bearberry

Vancouver Jade Bearberry is a low growing evergreen groundcover that is native to our area. It will grow from 4" to 6" tall and from 1' to 2' wide. It has pink flowers in the spring with red berries in the fall. The leaves are a dark glossy green. Vancouver Jade Bearberry likes to be planted in full sun to part shade and does best in well drained soil.

Vancouver Jade Bearberry attracts birds for the berries, and is also deer resistant. Use Vancouver Jade Bearberry as a groundcover in a Woodland setting. It also works great for erosion control on slopes or other areas that need erosion control. Vancouver Jade Bearberry is also a Firewise Plant.
