Ground Cover Plants
Ground cover plants are low growing plants that will cover an area such as a slope or a landscape bed. Use these plants for texture, color, and shape. When ground cover plants are used with taller growing plants, they can compliment each other. Ground cover plants will usually crowd out weeds and cut weeding down to a minimum once they are established.
Many homeowners choose to convert lawn space over to ground cover plants saving water and saving time mowing large lawns.
