Straight Talk Privet

Straight Talk Privet is a fast-growing, hardy shrub that can be pruned to any shape. The leaves are dark green with no change in fall color. It grows to a height of 10' to 12' tall 2' to 4' wide but can be kept at your desired height by pruning and trimming. It works great as a small hedge, in a shrub border, foundation planting or as a background shrub. This shrub can be trimmed year-round to any shape desired.

Straight Talk Privet likes to be planted in full sun to part shade. Straight Talk Privet is a very narrow growing shrub which makes it an excellent plant for narrow spaces.

In spring, white scented blossoms will appear which produce small, round black berries that persist into the winter. Butterflies and bees are attracted to the flowers. Wildlife and birds are attracted to the berries.
