Nova Zembla Rhododendron

Nova Zembla Rhododendron is a rounded evergreen shrub that is covered with clusters of bright red flowers in the spring. The blossoms will attract butterflies. This variety is very winter hardy in our area. It has dark green, glossy leaves that takes on reddish-purple hues in the hues in the fall and lasts through the winter. Nova Zembla Rhododendron will grow from 5' tall and just as wide.

Plant Nova Zembla Rhododendron in part shade in moist, well drained, acidic soil. You can even plant this beauty in a larger container for some spring color on your deck or patio. Nova Zembla Rhododendron can be planted in a landscape bed or a Woodland Garden.
