Rock Soapwort is a very tough perennial that will take dry, hot, sunny areas with glee. Rock Soapwort will grow from 6" to 7" tall and from 1' to 2' wide. It likes to be planted in full sun and well drained soil. I will be covered in late spring to early summer with pink flowers. The flowers will attract butterflies. Rock Soapwort makes an excellent cut flower for that tabletop vase.
Plant Rock Soapwort in a Rock Garden, Alpine Garden, cascading over a wall, a Moon Garden, or as a groundcover. It is drought tolerant once it is established. Deer don't like this perennial. Rock Soapwort is also an excellent choice for containers as a filler.
