Douglas Spirea is a beautiful native shrub that has unique, almost cacti-like pink flowers. It blooms during the summer and attracts butterflies and bees. It has light green leaves that turn yellow-orange in the fall. It will grow to a height of 6' to 8' tall and just as wide. Douglas Spirea likes to be planted in full sun.
Use it for a hedge, shrub border, background plant, or naturalizing an area in your yard. Birds are attracted to this shrub. Douglas Spirea loves to be in or near wet soil.
