Lemon Thyme
Lemon Thyme is a spreading ground cover that has needle shaped green leaves. The leaves have strong spicy-orange fragrance. It is full of pink flowers blooming from late spring to early summer. It will tolerate moderate foot traffic. It will grow 6" to 10" tall and will spread 8" to 12" wide. Lemon Thyme is easily divided in spring or early fall, and even small pieces will take root and grow.
Plant Lemon Thyme as a groundcover or between flagstone. Lemon Thyme will attract butterflies and is resistant to deer. It will become drought tolerant once it is established.
