Rocky Mountain Juniper
Rocky Mountain Juniper is a native shrub in our area. It is an evergreen conifer that has green to grayish needles that will take on a purplish to coppery tone on during the winter. It will grow up to 20' tall and up to 8' wide. Rocky Mountain Juniper likes to be planted in full sun and well-drained soil.
Rocky Mountain Juniper is deer resistant and drought tolerant once it is established. It attracts wildlife and bird to nest in its branches. Use Rocky Mountain Juniper as screening or a smaller windbreak.
