Ruby Star Echinacea
Ruby Star Echinacea is a popular Echinacea that has bright ruby-purple blossoms that start blooming in mid summer and keeps going until early fall. This perennial will grow from 2' to 3' tall and 2' wide. Ruby Star Echinacea likes to be planted in full sun to part shade and well drained soil.
Ruby Star attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees when in flower. Leave the mature seed heads on the plant when it goes dormant for the winter for winter interest and for birds that will be attracted to the seeds. Ruby Star Echinacea is drought tolerant once it is established.
Ruby Star Echinacea makes a great cut flower and is deer resistant. Plant ButterflyPostman in a sunny perennial garden, landscape bed, or this one will even work well in a container. Add some bright red-orange color to your deck or patio for summer enjoyment.
