Sarah Bernhardt Peony is one of the most popular garden peonies. The peony is often referred to as 'The Queen of the Garden'. This variety has large double pink blossoms that bloom from late spring to early summer and has a mild fragrance. It will grow from 32" to 36" tall just as wide.
Plant Sarah Bernhardt in full sun in well-drained soil. When in flower, it will attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It makes a great cut flower for an indoor table vase. For an interesting display of the flowers, cut one about an inch from the bloom and float it in a bowl of water.
