Mary Reed Daylily
Mary Reed Daylily has beautiful flowers that are purple with a yellow throat. Mary Reed Daylily have long slender green leaves that usually turn yellow in the fall. This daylily will grow to a height of 12" to 15" and just as wide. Mary Reed Daylily likes to be planted in full sun to partial sun.
Use Mary Reed Daylily as stand alone plants, edging, borders, containers, groundcover, cottage garden, or massed in a perennial or landscape bed. Daylilies are very hardy plants and will withstand dry soil to wet soil, poor soil, and slopes. Mary Reed Daylily attracts butterflies and makes an excellent cut flower. It is deer resistant and drought tolerant once it is established. It is also a Firewise plant. Water deeply during dry spells to maintain good looking foliage.
