Butter & Sugar Iris

Butter & Sugar Iris is virtually maintenance free. This beardless Iris blooms in late spring to midsummer while maintaining its beautiful grass-like foliage all season. It will grow up to 26" tall and 18'' to 2' wide. The blooms of Butter & Sugar Iris has white inner petals and cream yellow outer petals with no beard. This Iris likes to be planted in full sun.

After blooming, the mature seed pod and stem are excellent in dried arrangements. Irises are deer resistant. Butter & Sugar Iris will also tolerate wet soil. Use this plant in a perennial border, massed in a perennial or landscape bed, or a cottage garden. Plant Butter & Sugar Iris next to a pond or in a Rain Garden.
