Rajah Daylily

Rajah Daylily has striking scarlet red petals transitioning to orange with golden throats and has long slender green leaves that usually turn yellow in the fall. This daylily will grow to a height of 26" to 28" and 18" to 20" wide. Rajah Daylily likes to be planted in full sun to partial sun.

Use Rajah Daylily as a stand alone plant, for edging, borders, containers, groundcover, cottage garden, or massed in a perennial or landscape bed. Daylilies are very hardy plants and will withstand dry soil to wet soil, poor soil, and slopes. Rajah Daylily attracts butterflies and hummingbirds and makes an excellent cut flower. It is deer resistant and is also a Firewise plant. Water deeply during dry spells to maintain good looking foliage.

Daylilies should be divided to maintain vigor when the clumps become overcrowded. Deadhead flowers to keep plant looking nice.
