Alyssum
Alyssum has a sweet fragrance that is wonderful. It will grow from 4" to 15" high and just as wide. It will bloom from spring through summer until it gets real hot. Trim back to maintain a compact plant. Plant in full sun to partial sun and well drained soil.
Plant Alyssum in containers, as an edging, or massed in an annual or perennial bed. You can also use them as a companion plant in the vegetable garden to ward off aphids. The fragrance is very nice, so plant them in an area where you will be able to enjoy them.
