Rosea Bleeding Heart
Rosea Bleeding Heart
Rosea Bleeding Heart is an old fashioned, fast-growing perennial with pastel-pink, heart-shaped flowers that gracefully hang from the branches. The foliage is light green and fernlike. It will grow to a height of 2' to 3' tall and up to 2' wide.
Use this plant in a perennial bed with other plants that can disguise the foliage when it goes dormant in the summer. Planting it with ferns and hostas in a woodland garden is an excellent choice. Rosea Bleeding Heart makes an excellent cut flower and grows well in containers. It is deer resistant, and the flowers attract butterflies.
