Raspberry Suede Daylily
Raspberry Suede Daylily has striking deep bugundy suede like flowers with a yellow throat. Raspberry Suede Daylily have long slender green leaves that usually turn yellow in the fall. This daylily will grow to a height of 28" and 18" to 24" wide. Raspberry Suede Daylily likes to be planted in full sun to part shade.
Use Raspberry Suede Daylily as stand alone plants, edging, borders, containers, groundcover, cottage garden, moon garden, or massed in a perennial or landscape bed. Daylilies are very hardy plants and will withstand dry soil, poor soil, and slopes. Raspberry Suede Daylily attracts butterflies and makes an excellent cut flower. It is deer resistant and drought tolerant once it is established. It is also a Firewise plant. Water deeply during dry spells to maintain good looking foliage.
Raspberry Suede Daylily should be divided to maintain vigor when the clumps become overcrowded. Deadhead flowers to keep plant looking nice.
