Soulmate Milkweed will attract butterflies to your garden with pink flowers that appear in the summer and last until the end of summer. The flowers have a vanilla scent and will also attract hummingbirds. Because of the aromatic flowers, deer tend to stay away from this plant. It has green leaves that continue through the season dying back in the winter. When the flower heads mature, they produce seed pods that erupt in white silky seed heads.
Soulmate Milkweed likes to be planted in full sun in medium to moist soil. It will grow from 3' to 4' high and 2' to 30" wide. Use this showy plant in a perennial bed border or massed in a perennial bed. Soulmate Milkweed makes a great cut flower and will work well in containers. It is extremely tolerant of wet soils.
