Summer Scarlet Lily

Summer Scarlet Lily is from a series of lilies that were bred for a dwarf habit, mainly for growing in containers. The flowers are scarlet red. It will bloom in late spring to mid-summer. It will grow from 18" to 24" tall and 10" to 14" wide. Summer Scarlet Lily has dark green leaves that whorl up the stem and turn yellow in the fall. Lilies are very easy to grow. You can force them to bloom indoors, and they will reproduce well.

Summer Scarlet Lily has excellent long-lasting flowers and is great for a cut flower to fill a vase on a tabletop. They are also perfect for container growing or massed in a perennial bed. Plant Summer Scarlet Lily in a Cottage Garden or a Rock Garden. Lilies are not fragrant which makes them great for allergenic sufferers. They are also a Firewise plant.
