Regent Serviceberry

Regent Serviceberry is a native shrub that can grow 4' to 6' tall and just as wide. It has white blossoms in early spring which produce green berries that turn a dark purple later in the summer. Birds are attracted to the berries. The leaves are a medium green which turn yellow and burgundy in the fall. Regent Serviceberry likes to be planted in full sun to part shade.

Use this shrub as an accent plant, hedge, in a shrub border, as a specimen or in a Moon Garden. The berries are edible and are used for making jams, preserves, and pies.
