Pawnee Buttes Sand Cherry produces fragrant white flowers in spring. It will develop dark cherries in late summer which are edible for you and wildlife. You can use the cherries to make jam. It has medium green leaves with a lightly silver sheen to them. In fall the leaves turn a mahogany-red. This shrub will grow to a height of 15" to 18" tall and 4' to 6' wide.
