Purple Kohlrabi has a mild flavor and has a hint of a broccilli flavor. It is a cool season vegetable and will mature in about 55 to 60 days. The bulb grows on top of the ground. It will grow from 12" to 18" tall and 12" to 16" wide.

To harvest, pull the Kohlrabi, cut off the leaves and peel the husk. It is very flavorful if you cook in a little butter and top with honey. Very tasty. You can also slice the Kohlrabi, blanch, and freeze for eating during the winter months.
