Idaho Blue Fescue
Idaho Blue Fescue Grass forms a low mounding clump of deep blue foliage with blue stems that are topped with tan seed heads around midsummer. The seedheads will continue through the fall and will provide winter interest if they are not cut back. It will grow to a height of 9" to 12" tall and just as wide. Plant Idaho Blue Fescue Grass in full sun and well-drained soil.
Use Idaho Blue Fescue grass as a border, massed in a perennial bed, in a container, or to naturalize an area of your yard. It makes a great cut flower and deer tend to leave this grass alone. It will become drought tolerant once it is established. Idaho Blue Fescue is a native grass to our area. #1 $14.99 |
