Colorguard Yucca

Colorguard Yucca is an evergreen perennial that will retain its color through the winter. It can almost be considered a shrub but its not really a shrub.

It is unique in that it has spikey leaves. The leaves are variegated with yellow on the inside edged with dark green. It will send up tall spikes up to 6' tall and produce white flowers that bloom in mid-summer. The plant itself will grow to about 3' tall and just as wide.

Colorguard Yucca likes to be planted in full sun and well drained soil. It is drought tolerant once it is established and deer don't like it.

Use it as a specimen plant in your landscape as this is sure to be a conversation piece.
