Cheyenne Spirit Echinacea

Cheyenne Spirit Echinacea is a colorful addition to your perennial garden. The blooms are a vibrant color range of rich shades of orange, scarlet, rosy, red, purple, cream, tomato red, and golden yellow. The leaves are a dark green color. This selection blooms from midsummer through early fall. Cheyenne Spirit Echinacea will grow to a height of 24" to 32" and 24" to 30" in width.

Cheyenne Spirit Echinacea goes well in a mixed flower garden, in a perennial border, or as a specimen. Flame Thrower Echinacea attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and songbirds which enjoy the seeds in the big cone heads. It is deer resistant and is drought tolerant once it is established. It also makes a great cut flower and is a Firewise plant. You can even use this perennial in a container.

If you don't cut this perennial down in fall, you will even gain some fall and winter interest from the foliage, and it will provide food for birds. Divide clumps when they become overcrowded (about every 4 years).
