Chaters Double Scarlet Hollyhock

Chater's Double Scarlet Hollyhock is an old time favorite and is a very colorful Hollyhock. The double blossoms are a scarlet red color which contrast nicely with the light green foliage. it will bloom from mid to late summer. It will grow to a height of 60" to 80" and 12" to 20" wide. Chater's Double Scarlet Hollyhock likes to be planted in full sun.

Use Chater's Double Salmon Scarlet Hollyhock in a Cottage Garden or as a back border in a perennial garden. It has an impressive effect when planted in a mass planting. Hummingbirds, butterflies and bees are attracted to the flowers and deer tend to stay away from Hollyhocks. It has no real change in fall color, and it will die back for the winter.
