Carmen Hen & Chicks

Carmen Hen & Chicks is a drought tolerant succulent that has green with lower purplish leaves and rosettes. It will grow to a height of 2" to 6" tall and 9" to 12" in width. The parent plant will produce babies, i.e. chicks. It is a mounding and spreading type of plant and is an excellent choice for containers or Rock Gardens. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil.

Carmen Hen & Chicks will produce deep pink flowers in midsummer attracting butterflies and bees. In fall, the purplish color will remain and will stay semi-evergreen through the winter. Purple Beauty Hen & Chicks is a Firewise plant and is deer resistant.
