Buffalo Grass is a native grass to the United States. It will grow from 3" to 8" tall and is very drought tolerant. When the new grass is forming, it tends to grow in clumps until it completely fills in. If you can't water your yard often, Buffalo grass is a solution. It is however more expensive than other grass seeds.
We sell Buffalo grass as seed by the pound or in plugs planted in 2.5" pots. Plan on 4 to 6 pounds per 1,000 square feet.
