Bull's Blood Beet is a beet that has red flesh, as it's name would suggest. Harvest when small or large for fresh eating, pickling or canning. You can harvest the tops of the plant which provide excellent nutrition. Use them in salads when the leaves are younger or cook them when they are older. 

Space the beets 6" apart in rows. You can direct sow or transplant small seedlings. Bull's Blood Beet will grow 12" to 18" tall and the leaves will spread 9" to 12" wide. Days to harvest is 50 days. Bull's Blood Beet is an Heirloom beet.
