Varigated Meadowsweet

Variegated Meadowsweet is so named for it usually will be found on the edges of meadows and it has a sweet fragrance. It is an upright perennial that will grow from 24" to 30" in height and 18"to 24" in width. It has deep green, variegated foliage that has no significant fall color. It will die back during the winter.
During midsummer it will form panicles of white flower heads that are great for cutting. Variegated Meadowsweet will tolerate wet soil and should never be allowed to dry out. This is a great plant for a Woodland Garden, or alongside a pond, stream, or a boggy area. Variegated Meadowsweet likes to be planted in full sun to partial shade and will benefit if planted in a shady area with morning sun.
