Peggy Hen & Chicks
Peggy Hen & Chicks is a drought tolerant succulent starts in spring with purple leaves maturing to a deep red and rosettes. It will grow to a height of 4" to 6" high 6" to 8" wide. The parent plant will produce babies, i.e. chicks. It is a mounding type of plant and is an excellent choice for containers or Rock Gardens. Plant in full sun in well drained soil.
Peggy Hen and Chicks will produce light pink flowers in mid summer. Peggy Hen & Chicks will turn mahogany to brown during the fall and will remain evergreen through the winter. Firebird Hen and Chicks is a Firewise plant and deer resistant.
