Mother Lode Juniper

Mother Lode Juniper is faster growing than most junipers. It has colors that give it the name "Mother Lode." The new foliage is a bright yellow that changes to a gray-green as you get closer to the inside of the plant. In fall, the color changes to a deep yellow-orange color tinged with purple tips for winter. You will want to do some pruning on this plant if you wish to keep it small. It will grow to a height of 4" tall and up to 10' wide.
Use this plant in a rock garden, miniature garden, ground cover, erosion control, or in a raised bed where the branches can spill over a wall. Mother Lode Juniper is deer resistant, drought tolerant, and likes to be planted in full sun.
