McKenzie Chokeberry is a great all around shrub. It bursts with white blossoms in the spring followed by black berries that ripen for making jam. It will grow from 5' to 7' tall and 3' to 4' wide. McKenzie Chokeberry likes to be planted in full sun to part shade and well drained soil.
McKenzie Chokeberry will attract butterflies, hummingbirds and pollinators with the white blossoms in spring. Birds will be attracted for the berries, and is deer resistant. Use McKenzie Chokeberry in a shrub border or as a hedge for screening. McKenzie Chokeberry is very hardy in our zone surviving temperatures to -40 degrees.
