Clementine Blue Columbine

Clementine Blue Columbine is a wonderful mounding perennial that resembles a double flowering Clematis. It has bright blue flowers which are borne on stems that rise above the light green foliage. It will bloom in late spring through early summer. It will grow to a height of 12" to 18" and just as wide. Cut back the flower stems when it is finished blooming and it will often rebloom. Clementine Blue Columbine likes to be planted in full or partial sun. Clementine Blue Columbine will do well in sun but prefers shade.
Use this plant in a container, woodland garden, cottage garden, border, or massed in a perennial or landscape bed. Clementine Blue Columbine attracts butterflies, and hummingbirds.
