Caramel Heuchera
Caramel Heuchera also known as Coral Bells, grows vigorously. The honey-apricot leaves and clusters of light pink blooms will keep the shade garden colorful from spring through fall. The new leaves emerge as a bright gold in spring. As the weather warms, the leaves turn to an apricot color. In midsummer, clusters of whitish-pink blossoms bloom on slender 18 inch stems. It will grow to a height of 12" to 18" and 18" to 24" in width.
Use in containers, beds, and borders, cottage garden, or a woodland garden. This Heuchera is drought tolerant, deer resistant, makes a good cut flower, attracts Hummingbirds, Butterflies, and is a Firewise plant. If you don't cut this perennial back in the fall, it will provide some fall and winter interest. Caramel Heuchera likes to be planted in lite shade.
